Welcome to 4-1 & 4-2! It is hard to believe it is May 1st and there are 7 weeks left of the school year! Our fourth graders worked hard the month of April, taking the ELA and Math state exams for the first time. This month they will be taking the last state test scheduled for our grade, Science. The Science state exam will be given on Wednesday, May 23rd (Performance) and again on Monday, June 4th (short answer). The children are well prepared for this exam and we anticipate them doing fantastic! May is the month of our Blessed Mother. We will attend our school May Crowning on May 18th. Pray the rosary! Mary will hear and answer your prayers. Just a friendly reminder that you need to come prepared to school each day. Make sure ALL of your homework is completed and your assignment pad is signed by Mom or Dad after they check your homework, make sure you have enough pens and sharpened pencils in your pencil case and your bookbag is packed with everything you will need for the next school day. Most importantly, make sure to do your BEST every day!
